Arrive at Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station, assisting all arrival formalities, and you will be transferred to Munnar Hotel. Munnar, “The Southern Kashmir of Kerala”, located 1800 meters above Sea level. This hill station is marked by vast expenses of tea plantations, colonial bungalows, rivulets, waterfalls and cool weather. A 4 hour scenic/picturesque drive to Munnar through hill station. Enroute visit Spice Plantations, Valara/Cheeyappara Falls. Arrival at a place which is called ‘nature’s lovers paradise’. On arrival check in at Hotel. Later the day Is free for leisure. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.
Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing :
Morning depart to enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Mattupetty Dam/Lake, Echo Point, Nursery Garden, Photo Point, Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park – famous for Nilgiri Tahr(Wild goat), Anamudi Peak – South India’s Highest Peak, Tata Tea Museum. Evening Spice/Tea trailing at Munnar. Overnight at the Hotel in Munnar.
Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady :
In the morning, you will travel to Thekkady, nestled in the heart of the Cardamom Hills of Kerala. Enjoy a scenic journey as you pass mist-capped mountains, spice plantations, and open grasslands, all lined with spectacular waterfalls and delightful trekking trails that lead you to your hideaway. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, refresh yourself, and unwind. Later, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Thekkady. Participate in a boat safari on Periyar Lake, where you have a chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural habitat within the Periyar Tiger Reserve. Afterward, visit a spice plantation. In the evening, take a walk through the bustling Spice Market in Kumily village. You will spend the night at your hotel in Thekkady.
Day 4 Thekkady to Alleppey (Houseboat) :
In the morning, we head to Alleppey, a charming village nestled on Vembanad Lake. This land boasts azure backwaters, swaying palms, and floating houseboats. We enjoy a scenic four-hour drive through typical Kerala villages and lush paddy fields. Upon arrival, we check into a Kettuvallam, a famous Kerala houseboat, and savor lunch onboard. Then, we cruise through a unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals, and rivers, exploring the Kuttanadan region, which is the only area that cultivates rice below sea level. We spend the night aboard the houseboat in Alleppey.
Day 5 Alleppey to Kovalam :
After breakfast, you check out from the houseboat and transfer from Alleppey to Kovalam. En-route, you visit the Jatayu Earth Center, a city known for its vintage castles and flawless beaches. Upon arrival, you check into the hotel, then head out to Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach, and Samudra Beach to witness the sunset, creating a beautiful evening with your partner as you explore the city. Later, you visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple before returning to your room for a restful sleep.
Day 6 Kovalam to Cochin Airport Departure ( 7- 8 Hrs ) :
After Breakfast checkout from the Hotel and Later Bid farewell to this serene land as your holidays come to an end as you get transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey back to home… TOUR ENDS WITH SWEET MEMORIES !!! .
Kerala’s main tourism season runs from November to April, offering pleasant tropical weather along the coast. Temperatures peak at around 31°C (88°F) in Kochi.
